A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Valley of Flowers national park is situated deep in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of around 3500 metres. After the monsoon rains it becomes a wonderful kaleidoscope of colour as wildflowers carpet the lush green meadows.
Add the spectacular backdrop of jagged, snow-capped peaks, and the scene is quite simply breathtaking. This easy itinerary, including a gentle four-day trek, is ideal for exploring this superb location.
