This amazing 5 nights/ 6 days Pirpanjal Panorama Trek takes you across some scenic landscape in Himachal Pradesh. The Pirpanjal range is the longest range in the lower Himalayas and is hands down a scenic one.
Commencing from the pristine town of Manali, the trek takes one across the tranquil Himalayan villages into the Kullu valley. Delhi
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive at Delhi by international flight. A KVT representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to the vehicle. Later transfer to hotel. Afternoon start Delhi sightseeing. We proceed to Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Later go for an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through lively thoroughfares and bustling alleyways of Old Delhi market rarely visited by typical tourists. Arrive at Khari Baoli and see Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. Our exploration continues as we drive past historic colonial landmarks, such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, and India Gate—a poignant memorial dedicated to soldiers of the First World War. After breakfast departure to Delhi Airport for flight to Kullu. Meeting on arrival and drive to Manali – a beautiful township nestled in the picturesque Beas River valley. One can also fly in to Chandigarh and then drive to Manali (7.5 – 8.5hrs drive). Or else, you can reach Chandigarh by train and then drive to Manali. KVT can arrange transfers from Chandigarh airport or railway station at additional cost. NOTE: It is advisable to arrive a day earlier, which will help in better acclimatization.

After breakfast, board the vehicle and drive for around 30minutes to Shuru village – the starting point of the trek. From the village we start our acclimatization trek along the bank of the Beas River, followed by a gentle climb to the Banara village. From here we will continue with our gentle climb through the forest and will visit Arjuna’s Cave en-route. As per the villagers, it is in this cave Mahabharata legend prince Arjuna meditated and obtained the divine Pashupatashtra from Lord Shiva. We will camp at Tilgan for the night, amidst pine forest and meadows. (Driving Time: 30 minutes / Trekking Time: 5 – 6hrs / Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Today’s trek to Soruto is another gradual ascend. The trail is a gradual ascent as it takes us slowly above the tree-line from where the view opens up and the magnificent Pir Panjal range starts to mesmerize you. Once we arrive at camp, we can relax and enjoy the panoramic views around. (Trekking Time: 5 – 6hrs / Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Today is another day of the easy gradual climb. We start climbing following the trail which leads up to Chika base camp – the starting point of the actual Hampta Pass trek. While trekking through the trail one can have a beautiful view of Pir Panjal Range and Brigu Lake. Continue with the gradual climb up to our next campsite at Roda Khodi. (Trekking Time: 5 – 6hrs / Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Today is the last day of the trek whereby we will start a downhill trek to Prini. Arrival at Prini will bring an end to a fascinating trekking journey. Board the vehicle and drive to Manali (around 1hr drive). Upon arrival, we check in to the hotel. After some rest, we will visit two mythological and popular temples of Manali. We visit Hadimba Temple – it is an ancient pagoda-style cave temple which is surrounded by a beautiful cedar forest. The temple is dedicated to goddess Hadimba, a mythological character from the epic Mahabharata and wife of Pandhav brother Bhima. Later we proceed to the sacred village of Vashisht. The village has a temple dedicated to sage Vashisht who finds mention in Rig Veda, the oldest religious book of Hindus. Apart from the temple, a hot water spring bath is what makes the village worth a visit. (Trekking Time: around 3hrs / Driving Time: around 1 hr / Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast we will be transferred to Bhuntar Airport for flight to Delhi. A KVT representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to the vehicle. Later transfer to hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
