This specially designed tour will take guests to two contrasting yet vast different national parks of India. Tadoba National Park, also known as “The Jewel of Vidharba”, is the oldest and the largest National Park in Maharashtra. Pench National Park is another popular national park among the wildlife lovers, deriving its name from Pench River which divides the park into two forms-the lifeline.
Delhi
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive at Delhi by international flight. A KVT representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to the vehicle. Later transfer to hotel. Afternoon start Delhi sightseeing. We proceed to Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Later go for an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through lively thoroughfares and bustling alleyways of Old Delhi market rarely visited by typical tourists. Arrive at Khari Baoli and see Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. Our exploration continues as we drive past historic colonial landmarks, such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, and India Gate—a poignant memorial dedicated to soldiers of the First World War. After breakfast transfer to the Delhi airport for flight to Nagpur. Assistance on arrival at the Nagpur airport and later drive to Tadoba (3 – 4hrs drive). Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a Tiger reserves in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It is Maharashtra’s oldest and largest National Park. It is one of India’s 41st Project Tiger Tiger reserves. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
This day we will take 2 game drives into the park, trying to find elusive tiger. We leave early morning for our 1st safari into the National Park. Track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning. We then return to the hotel to have a break during the heat of the day before our 2nd game drive in the afternoon. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
Today again we will take 2 game drives into the park, in search of the elusive tiger and explore more wild life. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
After breakfast we drive to Pench (5 – 6hrs drive). The name originated from the Pench River that flows through the National park. Tiger is the main cat species of the park present in good numbers but sighted infrequently. Commonly seen wildlife is chital, sambhar, nilgai, wild boar, and jackal. Other wild animals found are leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, porcupine, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, chowsingha and barking deer. There are also more than 170 species of birds including several migratory ones. Upon arrival at Pench we will check in to hotel. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
Today we will have 2 jeep safaris into the park, trying to find elusive tiger. We wake up early morning and leave for our 1st safari into the park, track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning and return to the hotel. We have a break during the heat of the day before our 2nd jeep safari in the afternoon. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
Today, we will again take 2 game drives into the park, in search of the elusive tiger and to explore more wild life. (Meals: Breakfast & dinner)
After breakfast we will be transferred to Nagpur airport for flight to Delhi. Assistance on arrival at the airport and later transfer to hotel. (Meals: Breakfast)
Morning transfer to Delhi airport for onward international flight back to home country. (Meal: Breakfast)
