A wild tiger sighting is an unforgettable experience, and this itinerary focuses primarily on encountering these iconic predators in the wild. But there is a cultural dimension, too, as we visit the incomparable Taj Mahal and other sites in Agra. It’s an exciting trip for wildlife enthusiasts eager to see the tiger in its natural environment, and for anyone with a broader interest in India.
Delhi
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive at Delhi by international flight. A KVT representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to the vehicle. Later we will be transferred to the hotel. Afternoon start Delhi sightseeing. We proceed to Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Later go for an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through lively thoroughfares and bustling alleyways of Old Delhi market rarely visited by typical tourists. Arrive at Khari Baoli and see Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. Our exploration continues as we drive past historic colonial landmarks, such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, and India Gate—a poignant memorial dedicated to soldiers of the First World War. Morning transfer to the Delhi airport for flight to Jabalpur. Assistance on arrival at the Jabalpur airport and later drive to Bandhavgarh (3.5 – 4.5hrs drive). Upon arrival we check-in to the hotel and relax. Sprawl over an area of 450 Square Kilometers, Bandhavgarh National Park is known for its breathtaking array of flora and fauna. Its geographical positioning has gifted a repository of over 250 species of birds and 22 different species of mammals. The Park is simply known for the various species of wild creatures and is best known for the preservation of the most astonishing tiger species. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
Bandhavgarh National Park has one of the highest densities of the tiger population in India. The presence of the abundance of tiger species in Bandhavgarh has drove many animal lovers in this explicit arena. The park also has a large breeding population of leopards, and various species of deer. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of mixed vegetation ranging from tall grasslands to thick Sal forest and so is the perfect habitat of variety of animals and birds. The best way to explore the wildlife is by a 4X4 Jeeps escorted by a naturalist. Today we will have 2 jeep safaris into the park, trying to find elusive tiger. We wake up early morning and leave for our 1st safari into the park, track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning and return to the hotel. We have a break during the heat of the day before our 2nd jeep safari in the afternoon. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

Morning we will reach Agra and upon arrival will proceed to the hotel. Afternoon we visit Agra Fort, whose mighty red sandstone walls enclose the beautiful white marble Pearl Mosque and the palaces, halls, courtyards and fountains of his sons and successors, Jehangir and Shah Jahan. Then we visit the beautiful Taj Mahal, built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan on the banks of River Yamuna in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. A symbol of eternal love, the Taj Mahal is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a first time visitor. We spend evening visiting the bazaar where the local artisans do the famous fine marble inlay work. (Meals: Breakfast)
After breakfast drive to Delhi (4 – 5hrs) and upon arrival proceed to airport for flight to onward destination. (Meals: Breakfast)
