Cycle through Rajasthan countryside and explore the vibrant cities of Jodhpur and Udaipur in this 6 Day/5 Night adventure. Savor the scenic beauty as you pedal past fields and hamlets along the foothills of the Aravali range.
Enjoy a village safari, folk dance and music performance and visit the magnificent marble temple of Ranakpur. You can also opt to visit the Mehargarh Fort at Jodhpur and take a city tour of Udaipur. If you are looking for an immersive adventure then this one is for you.
Delhi
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive at Delhi by international flight. A KVT representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to the vehicle. Later transfer to hotel. Afternoon start Delhi sightseeing. We proceed to Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Later go for an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through lively thoroughfares and bustling alleyways of Old Delhi market rarely visited by typical tourists. Arrive at Khari Baoli and see Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. Our exploration continues as we drive past historic colonial landmarks, such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, and India Gate—a poignant memorial dedicated to soldiers of the First World War. After breakfast departure to Delhi Airport for flight to Jodhpur. A KVT representative will meet you and take you to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon we check our bicycles for some last minute adjustments, followed by a briefing from the tour leader about the trip. We then head out for sightseeing on two wheels around the city. Optional: We can also ride our cycles through the winding uphill road to visit the magnificent Meharangarh Fort and to witness a great view of the “Blue City”.

Today we drive for around 45 mins to get to Rohet, from where we start cycling. We cycle from Rohet for around 50 kms to reach Bhadrujan. We pedal through the country roads, crossing villagers working in the mustard fields and camel carts passing us by. From Bhadrujan we load our bikes on the car coach and drive to Bhenswara. Upon arrival we check into a heritage hotel, restored from a 240 year old castle. Late afternoon we head out for a village safari to get a unique glimpse into the lifestyle and everyday activities of rural village life. We see locals go about their daily work and get a glimpse into a rural Rajasthani household with its simple no frills lifestyle. As the herdsmen direct the grazing cows back home after a day in the fields, our village experience comes to an end and we return to the hotel. In the evening we enjoy a performance by local folk musicians at the hotel. (Cycling distance: Around 50 kms / Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

After breakfast we drive to the topmost point of the Aravali hills where a Hindu temple is located. We enjoy the panoramic view from the top and then start to cycle downhill, riding along winding hilly roads and passing by small hamlets till we reach the foothills. We continue to ride through small villages till we reach the main highway. From here we board the vehicle and drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival we check in to the hotel. In the evening we proceed to Bagore-ki-Haveli to witness a popular live performance of music and dance that features puppet dance, folk dance, tribal dance, and much more. Early morning we head out to explore the countryside on our bikes. We ride through the beautiful countryside through some of the most eye-catching landscapes and pedal across village fields, crossing the lakes and letting the cold wind energize our mind and soul. We cross the Shilpgram, a village cooperative for tribal and rural artisans, and see their work. As we ride through the village notice the indigenous paintings on the walls. We will continue with our ride till we reach the Badi Lake crossing across fields and locals going for their daily field work. After spending some time at the lake we return to hotel. This brings to the end of the cycling trip. Rest of the time is free to explore the old city on your own. Optional: A guided city sightseeing tour can be arranged on additional payment. During the tour you will visit the City Palace. Built in 1725, it is an intriguing collection of buildings contributed by various Maharanas after Udai Singh. Walk through the lanes of the old city till Jagdish Temple – the largest and most beautiful Indo-Aryan temple in Udaipur adorned with noteworthy sculpted images; and finally visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Garden of Maids) – an ornamental garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his daughter and the ladies of the Queen’s court. Later we proceed for an exciting boat cruise on the lake Pichola and observe the setting of sun over the Aravalis and see the heritage buildings changing their colors with the setting sun. After breakfast we will be transferred to Udaipur airport for flight for onward destination. (Meals: Breakfast)
